*TW - SA, Physical & psychological abuse, self harm, suicidal thoughts * This a tough one. In this episode, we talk about trauma bonding. Something I (Haley) have realized lately is that the only way to begin feeling better, is to identify and acknowledge the weight we've been carrying. Sharing this information along with some personal experiences (from Me & Sam) is one of my first steps to processing my past after years of staying silent. I decided to share what I found in an episode to not just educate you, papas, but to give space for anyone listening to heal - to remind you that you are never alone. Genuinely, if you are not in a place to process or bring up / hear some really tough memories, please prioritize you and skip this episode. You and your mental health matter more.
